Everything in life has it's highpoints and low points, but I found the highpoints in this career field so rewarding that I would recommend it to anyone, despite the drawbacks. Personally, I am a human intelligence collector in the Regular Army nowadays. Analysts in the Army are just that - they can and do analyze data from all of the disciplines to create a sound picture out of the overall 'puzzle.' There are different types of collectors your recruiter can provide a summary of what each one does. A collector has a very small focus on their tiny little piece of the puzzle conversely the analyst will be better informed on a grander scale because it is his job to 'put the whole puzzle together.' If you are considering re-enlisting for an intelligence MOS you need to decide if you would rather be the person COLLECTING the information or the person who ANALYZES it and DECIDES WHAT IT ALL MEANS.
